Thankfulness Challenge!

Hey guys! So with Thanksgiving coming up I wanted to share my top 10 things I am thankful for and then give you guys a challenge!

1. My amazing family! I have been blessed with awesome parents to be with since I am an only child.

2. My awesome church! I have been apart of my church for almost 17 years and growing there is just amazing.

3. My great friends. I have been blessed to have such a great group of friends including you guys! It is always nice to have such a great group to support me through everything!

4. Education! I know "ugh school is gross" but learning is important even though it's a pain we gotta do it.

5. Social Media! I mean if we didn't have social media I wouldn't have this blog or some of my awesome friends.

6. Racing! Not only has social media brought me awesome friends but so has racing. I have great friends through racing whether I am sitting in the stands with them or watching them race. But without racing I wouldn't have either one.

7. Headphones! I mean we don't think about this but imagine sitting and having to listen to everyone's music. It would be a pain and you wouldn't be happy.

8. Transportation. Trust me if you told me I had to walk everywhere I wouldn't go anywhere. Some days it just isn't worth it.

9. Choir. For those who don't know I am really into my choir. I have been in choir for a really long time and it is a must for me in school and I am lucky to have an awesome choir director too.

10. My camera. I have been getting into the whole photography thing lately and my camera is definitely my companion in that journey.

So those are my top 10 things I am thankful for and now here is the challenge part! I want you guys to make your top 10 things you are thankful for. Trust me it is harder than it sounds like but you never realize what you will come up with! When you get your list either post it in the comments section or send it to me on social media (Twitter or Instagram) because I would love to know what you guys are thankful for!

That is it for this post I hope you enjoyed it and I can't wait to get your lists and I will talk to you guys soon!

My Top 10 Things to Do with Your Friends

So if you are like me you never know what to do when your friends come over. I tend to google what to do about 10 minutes before they get to my house. So here is my list of fun and somewhat free things to do when your friends come over so your not on your phone the whole time!

1. Have a movie marathon! I know everyone says this but watching movies with friends is so fun and you can always get giggles from your favorite movie.

2. Create a photo shoot! With technology now everything cell phone has a camera. Get dressed up with your friends and go outside and take some pictures!

3. Do some baking! Who doesn't love baking? Plus you can make really yummy food and then eat it all too!

4. Pull an all nighter! If your friend happens to be sleeping over why not just stay up! You can always sleep the next day and plus late nights produce very fun memories (I speak of experience)

5. Make ice cream sundaes! I am a huge ice cream freak so this is a must for me. Get fun toppings and make sure you take pictures and post them to prove you did it and remember how good it looked while you admire how good it tastes!

6. Nail decorating! Grab some fun colors and paint your nails. It's fun and they will look super cute!

7. YouTube. There are so many things to watch on YouTube. There's anything from hair tutorials to wedding disasters. You guys will be able to find something.

8. Go out and get some frozen yogurt! I love frozen yogurt and it is just fun to go out and get some frozen yogurt with friends. Plus if you find a good cheap place it is just a bonus.

9. Pinterest! There are so many fun things to do on Pinterest! From little crafts to big DIY projects. Do something you will both enjoy doing.

10. Enjoy each other's company! This is a big one. Make sure you just have fun together! These people you hang out with could be around for a while and you will always have these memories. So make sure you enjoy your time together!

Now if you use any of these ideas or you do something else fun with your friends feel free to tell me about it on my social media! I would love to hear what you guys do together! Also feel free to share this blog with your friends so they get great ideas too!

As always I hope you enjoyed this post and I will talk to you guys soon!

A Half Mile of Mayhem

I would just like to take a minute before we get to the actual post and say I hope everyone likes the new look! I think it is much better than the old one! But anyway on to the real reason your here!

So of course when racing comes back around what do I do? I splurge and go see some racing.

Martinsville Speedway is known as the half-mile of mayhem and man it lives up to its name. It is the smallest track on the NASCAR circuit. This weekend they were running the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series. I had tickets for the truck race and decided to make the trek with my parents.

We got to the track at the end of Cup practice so we immediately went in to the track to watch truck qualifying. This week two of my favorite people and really good friends were running the truck series. Gray Gaulding and Dalton Sargeant. Guys I am not playing with you these guys are going to be legends. They are already doing amazing in their part time rides.

But after qualifying and another cup practice, it was time for the race. Before the race I got to see Gray and wish him luck and we even took a picture. Gray and Dalton both had good starting spots. But the race was INSANE. Twelve cautions and Matt Crafton was the winner. Unfortunately Gray and Dalton had a rough race.

After the race, I walked out to the gate and got to see Dalton and his family. I was super happy to see him again after seeing him in Bristol and watching him race Richmond and I finally got to meet his mom (who is absolutely one of the sweetest people on the planet!) after talking to her on Twitter. We talked for a good amount of time and I got a picture with him too.

Then while we were walking back towards the car I saw Gray's dad. I ran up and gave him a hug and he invited us to hang out at the RV for a little bit. Of course we went up and we got to hang out with their whole family for a little bit. They really are a great family and awesome friends.

But the whole day was pretty fun! It was my first day there and I really enjoyed it plus It was a great family day. If you are looking for tracks to go to I highly suggest Martinsville.

That's all I have for this post but I hope you enjoyed it! Feel free to tell me your favorite tracks in the comments or on twitter and I will talk to you guys soon!
