Just like every other girl I am in love with products that soften my skin and make me smell good. Lately I have found some products and I have been given some new products that I am now obsessed with. August is just a great month for beauty with new products coming out and it is the perfect time to look for new products while getting ready for back to school.
So one thing I have to have on in the mornings is a body spray. I am one that likes the more fruity smell and right now I am in love with the Bath and Body Works Coco Cabana. It has Aloe Vera in it and it is super moisturizing plus it smells amazing. I definitely give it five stars.
Now I used to be a dancer and my feet can be pretty gross, so I am always looking for new products to help make my feet less gross. I have recently discovered the Avon Foot Works foot soak and it works wonders. You mix in the foot works with some warm water and soak your feet fo 15-20 minutes. You do have to order from the Avon website but it is completly worth it.
I also got a phenominal hand cream from Avon that it super moisturizing and leaves your hands feeling soft for days! I have dry skin and this really helps my skin stay moisturized and feeling good.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you enjoy these products! If you have a product you want me try leave it in the comments or send me a tweet and I will talk to you guys later!

Beautiful You: Hair Tips
Hey guys so today I wanted to continue my beauty series Beautiful You with some of my favorite hair tips. Some have to deal with styling your hair and some of my favorite hair products. I am a person that spends a lot of time on my hair with styling and all that fun stuff so I have some awesome products.
1. I have been known to wear my hair straight and curly for different occasions and the first thing I always do is put heat protection on my hair. My hair is thick so I have to use a high heat setting. Heat protection can be a little expensive but you will be happy with how your hair looks when it isn't burned and dry.
2. Coconut Oil is super healthy for your hair. Put the oil in your hair and leave it for a little bit and it leaves your hair stronger and shinier. A plus with this product is that coconut oils are not crazy expensive and a lot of stores sell them.
3. If you have a lot of static in your hair I have the perfect solution for you. If you take a dryer sheet and put it over your hairbrush it helps remove static and trust me this one works.
4. Dry shampoo is a must for me. It is bad for your hair to wash it everyday and use heat but the solution is amazing. If you take dry shampoo and spray it all over your hair it makes your hair look and feel so much cleaner. I suggest the Pantiene dry shampoo. It is pricey but worth it.
5. Make sure you get a good quality hair straightener/curling iron. I bought a $20 straightener one time and I got what I paid for. It took forever to heat up and didn't work as well as the one I bought for more money. It is true that you get what you pay for. Now don't go pay over $100 for a straightener but don't pay $30 for one. Use common sense. No one knows your hair better than you.
6. There is a HUGE difference between a curling iron and a curling wand. If you are looking for looser curls that aren't as defined a curling iron is what you want. If you want more defined curls get a curling wand. I use a wand and I absolutely love it. It is hard to learn how to use it at first but there are so many tutorials on YouTube.
7. If you dye your hair like I do there is a shampoo/conditioner you should be using. The Suave Professional series for colored hair is awesome! I use the Moroccan Oil but all the scents are awesome and it helps keep your hair vibrant and look amazing.
8. If you have fly away/ baby hairs put some hair gel on the back of your comb and lightly brush them down. If that doesn't work try putting a little bit of gel on your fingers and smooth them down like that.
9. When conditioning your hair make sure you spend some time conditioning your ends. It helps your hair stay less greasy. Don't ask me how I just know it works and is now part of my shower routine.
10. If you have curly hair and you use mousse, make sure you flip your head when putting the mousse in your hair. This gives your hair volume while you apply your product.
I hope these help you with your hair and check out my Pinterest for more hair tips and other fun tips. I hope you enjoyed this post and please feel free to share this post! Beautiful You: Use Glue to Remove Blackheads
What I Used:
A bottle of Elmer's Glue
A paper towel
- So to start off you take some glue and spreading it on your nose to cover all the blackheads.
- After you have the glue on your nose, you press the paper towel on your nose an let the glue start to dry.
- Once the glue is starting to dry you gently pull off the paper towel and the blackheads are gone.
Sounds easy enough right? Wrong. I am here to tell you that this myth is truly a myth. I tried twice and it didn't help me at all. If you are truly unhappy or have acne I suggest any Clean and Clear product. You can find their products at any store and there are so many choices. They are oil free and smell and feel really good. But for removing blackheads there are so many different remedies out there.
I have a new board on Pinterest called Beauty Hacks and I would love if you guys followed it. I have been pinning so many new hacks that are are so helpful and some of the things I never would have thought of.
I hope you enjoyed this post and that you found it helpful. If you found this helpful feel free to give the post a +1 and share it with a friend! I can't thank you guys enough for the support of me and this blog and we have reached over 1400 reads!! I never thought I would get to this point and I am just so blessed. Thank you guys so much! I will be back soon with another post in this series.

Beautiful You!
Hey guys so since I ran my poll over on Twitter this month is going to be about beauty hacks! I am calling the series Beautiful You! This series is about different ways to make yourself feel more beautiful. You are already so beautiful but there is nothing wrong with putting make up on to enhance your beauty. To start off the series I wanted to share my top beauty products that I use on an everyday basis.
1. Foundation- I use the Maybelline Fit Me liquid foundation. It has amazing coverage and it also has SPF 18. It has a smooth and sleek look and I just love it.
2. Powder- Along with my foundation I use the Maybelline Fit Me Matte Powder. It is easy to apply and makes your skin look smooth and beautiful.
3. Concealer- Sticking with the Maybelline Fit Me their concealer is awesome! It comes with an applicator and blends so nicely!
4. Eye shadow- My favorite eye shadow pallet right now is the Loreal La Palette Nude 1. It has ten different eye shadow colors that mix and on the back there are different ways you can apply the eye shadow. It is a little pricey but totally worth it.
5. Eyeliner- I am a huge fan of liquid liners. They stay on a lot longer and they are so easy to apply. I use the Cover Girl liquid eyeliner. It is more like a pen which means it is easy to hold and the brush is more like a paint brush so it is flexible.
6. Mascara- Again I love the Maybelline brand of mascara. Right now I am in love with The Falsies series. The applicator is curved so it curls the lashes while applying the mascara. There are a lot of different types of mascara so I encourage you to go find the brand you like the most.
7. Lipstick/Lip Gloss- I use a variety of different lip products. As a daily moisturizer I use Maybelline Baby Lips. I became a big fan of this after I sunburnt my lips at a race. It was an awful experience and this lip balm doubles and a sunscreen. One of my favorite lip sticks right now is the Ulta Basically Berry. It is a matte lipstick but it is a really pretty color. My lip gloss that I have been using for many years is by Rimmel London in their Stay Glossy brand. It is shimmery and the colors are gorgeous.
8. Applicators- If you join me on periscope you know I am a big fan of beauty blenders. The little sponges that blend concealer and it keeps your hands clean. I highly recommend getting one. You can get one for cheap at Target by getting their brand.
9. Face Wash- Face wash is a big thing to use to clean all the daily grossness off your face. I use the Clean and Clear 3-in-1 Exfoliating cleanser and then throughout the day I use their oil absorbing sheets. They are awesome and don't mess up your make up one bit. They are perfect for after gym or a workout.
10. Lotion- Like everyone else I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works lotion. They all smell amazing and are super moisturizing.
When you explore makeup I do NOT recommend Elf makeup. Yes it is cheap but you get what you paid for. Their brushes are nice but the makeup just feels cheap and doesn't stay on well. Paying a little more on makeup is paying for better quality.
I hope you all enjoy this series. I am really excited about it but I hope that all of this just helps you realize how beautiful you already are.
I hope you enjoyed the intro to this new series and I hope you sincerely enjoy it. Please feel free to send me questions about anything and at the end of the series I will post a Q&A! I am really excited to go through this series with you so feel free to show these posts to your friends and use the hashtag #beautywithmegs ! That is it for this post and I can't thank you guys enough for reading and supporting me!
